NEW MOON BENCHMARKING - BABY SCRUB JAY

We came home from the river to the LOUDEST "screeeeeeee" repeating as we parked the car. We realized it was a baby scrub jay in our neighbor's yard flapping its wings and squawking at its parent. They were both foraging on the ground.

Since then we've seen this little one and its parents in our yard quite a few times, often tipped off first by their loud cries!

Squash and pumpkin blossoms seem to bloom at first light and close by early to mid day! There are so many bees about right now.
